Had a longer-than-usual weekend, and went around trying to find something interesting. Nothing much on the first day, I’ve been to Kelebia many times before, and also that field. The next day though I decided to go somewhere a bit farther.
I’ve been to Skenderevo lake once before with a bicycle but didn’t want to risk it with its current state. Besides that, the road to the lake is not the safest without a car. I looked around how to get there without much trouble, and found a bus line to Misicevo pretty logical. From there the lake is only a few minutes on foot. To get back though I decided to walk along the lake to Gornji Tavankut and catch the bus back from there. It looked pretty easy, almost straight in line, 7km total. For some reason, it wasn’t that easy, but it was manageable. My feet are tired, muscles hurt in my legs, but had a great time outdoors. 4/5, would recommend.
